Why Did Bush Invade Iraq?

Was this act contrived by the Bush Administration for personal means, or could there be greater powers behind what transpired? There are many conspiracy theories about this issue, but could Bush simply be a pawn in a larger plan to propel us into the last days spoken of by the prophet Daniel when Babylon was controlled by King Nebuchadnezzar? Could Bush be the He-Goat that attacked the ram spoken of by Daniel?

Many pictures are given to us through scriptures in the Bible of future events. Things were recorded about people that lived hundreds of years before an event transpired, and looking back, scholars say it paralleled almost exactly what happened before. One example of this would be the life of Joseph. Scholars say Joseph paralleled the life of Jesus to a remarkable degree.

See Joseph & Jesus.

To see if Bush’s invasion could be divinely driven, let’s look at just what Iraq is. This area that is called Iraq goes back to the beginning of time. Some scholars believe the Garden of Eden was located in Iraq. With the exception of Israel, Iraq is spoken of more than any other place in the Bible. It is called the land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia, which means "land between two rivers," the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. This is also where civilization is believed to have begun. Babylon is also located in Iraq and plays a large part in end time prophecies. The land of Ur, where Abraham was born, is in southern Iraq. Nahor, where Isaac’s wife, Rebekah, was from, is in Iraq. Nineveh is a city in Iraq that God sent Jonah to preach, and when he refused, Jonah spent three days in the belly of a fish that God prepared for him. After his experience, Jonah preached to Nineveh, and the City repented.

Many of the stories told in the Bible were to have happened in Iraq. Nimrod built the tower of Babel, and the Lord confounded the languages here.

Noah was to have built his ark in Iraq. Jacob was sent to Iraq to get a bride and spent 20 years there.

Daniel wrote the entire book of Daniel while in Iraq. Daniel spent the night in the lion’s den, unharmed, and the three Hebrew children were thrown into the furnace and came out unharmed. Belshazzar, the son of Nebuchadnezzar, saw the finger of God writing on the wall after he insulted God at the banquet. Daniel was made a ruler in this country.

Iraq, ruled by Nebuchadnezzar, was the first country to invade and take capture of the people of Israel. They destroyed the temple and stole the tools and treasures from the temple. This became the first power of its day to rule the entire world. The prophecies of Ezekiel were given to him while in captivity in Iraq.

Even the very name "Iraq" means "country with deep roots." This area has played a major part in history from the very beginning and will need to be watched very closely throughout these end times.

See In the Beginning.

When 9-11 shocked the nation, President Bush declared a Global Organization Against Terrorism to fight the Islamic extremist following bin Laden. The first letters of the organization President Bush organized spell the word "GOAT." The actions following this attack parallels the entire prophecy of Daniel when the He-Goat from the West attacks the Ram. The first fulfillment of the prophecies were completed in the years after Daniel died and were the same areas Bush is now attacking.

See Time-line in Daniel.

We are at war with Iraq right now, and no one knows where it will eventually end, but it is being orchestrated by God, and Bush will perform God’s will whether he knows it or not.

As President Bush has dealings with Israel, we are seeing another parallel of biblical prophecies unfolding. The roadmap that the administration is trying to push on Israel is not going to work. Prophecies recorded for these times do not have the outcome Bush is trying to achieve.
